Remote cardiac monitoring:
The CardioScp® software is dedicated for physicians who execute and describe ECG examinations. It makes up a part of the Tele ECG® system – cardiological care of patient that may be diagnosed directly in a surgery or remotely using ordinary phone links or GSM mobile phone digital networks. The Tele-ECG® system consists of ECG devices that collect, transmit and archive data according to SCP standard (Standard Communication Protocol for Computer-Assisted Electrocardiography), developed by the European Committee for Standardization [CEN] in Brussels). Thanks to the Tele-ECG® system’s devices, practically everyone is able to execute ECG examination, in every conditions. It can be e.g. patient at home, family nurse, physician, institution’s employee etc. Depending on kind of ECG device used, examination may be executed from one or all twelve standard Einthoven’s, Goldberger’s or Wilson’s leads. Received ECG signal may be transmitted directly via communication links or registered in internal memory of the device and transmitted later. Data is transmitted to the computer with the CardioScp® software installed. User receiving an examination – family physician or cardiologist on duty – is able to make diagnose on the basis of ECG examination and do suitable actions if required. All examinations and their evaluations are archived on computer’s hard disk and may be printed on any computer printer. ECG examinations archived in the computer according to SCP standard, may be transmitted via the Internet to experts in order to obtain a consultation.
