Digital devices
Digital tele-ecg® devices EHO type can monitor and register patient's ECG record and other optional life-monitoring parameters such as blood saturation, heart rate or blood pressure in its internal memory. The records can be transmitted to consulting physician using the GSM/GPRS modem, PSTN modem, via LAN/Internet network or using a wireless Bluetooth network.
The EHO tele-ecg® devices can work as event-holter devices. In that mode, the monitoring is performed continuously and the data are stored in backward-buffered internal memory working in a loop. The loop length is programmed by the physician, according to patient's individual needs (from several seconds up to 16 minutes). The device operating memory always contains a current ECG record of set length. The patient can store this ECG record permanently when necessary (e.g. chest pain) by pressing the "record" button. The stored event record contains both the ECG recorded before pressing the button (so called "backward buffer") and performed after the activation. Thus, the record can contain the ECH recorded before, during and sometimes even after the discomfort is gone.
The total recording time is 17 minutes. The total recording time can be divided by the phycisian into several or more events of set length. The ECG examination can be performed and stored as a record in any time.

Analog devices
Analog tele-ecg® PS devices are intended to use with public switched telephone network (PSTN).
The ECG record is tranformed into acustic signal, which is emitted from the device's loudspeaker and sent using the microphone via the PSTN.
The ECG transmission is beeing performed during the acquisition. The patient can talk to his physician during the same telephone call.
There are several types of the tele-ecg® PS devices, depending on the number of ECG leads. The PS devices have one channel only and the leads are switched automatically.
